Purpose:Based on previous researches and practice of exercising to lose weight,this paper further studies the specific methods and their fitness results.By group experiments,the author compares the fitness results of two kinds of training methods,i.e.doing resistance exercise before aerobic exercise and alternating between resistance and aerobic exercise,drawing a conclusion through the observation of experiments and analysis of results that both of the two methods can bring great fitness results,but the method of alternating between resistance and aerobic exercise has better results.Methods:40 obese female college students were randomly divided into two groups of 20 students.Students in the first group used the method of doing resistance exercise before aerobic exercise,while students in the other group used the method of alternating between resistance and aerobic exercise.The whole training process lasted for 12 weeks.Using literature review,interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and experiments,the paper studies the fitness results of the two different training methods.Results:Through two weeks of exercise training and diet intervention,the two training methods had following effects on students' body shape and body function indicators:1.Body shape:Through the pre-test and post-test data comparison,the two practice methods had a significant impact on the physiological indicators of students'body shape,and there was a big different between the pre-test and post-test data(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the pre-test data(P>0.05),but there was significant difference between the post-test data(P<0.01),showing that the method of alternating between resistance and aerobic exercise has better fitness results in terms of the body shape.2.Physical function:Through the pre-test and post-test data comparison,the two practice methods had a significant impact on the physical function of the students,and there was a big different between the pre-test and post-test data(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the pre-test data(P>0.05),but there was significant differences in the heart rate and endurance between the post-test data(P<0.01).Conclusions:1.In the condition of systematic training and dietary intervention,two training methods for 12-week physical training,i.e.doing resistance exercise before aerobic exercise and alternating between resistance and aerobic exercise,had great fitness results for obese female college students.2.The method of alternating between resistance and aerobic exercise had more significant results in improving the body shape and physical function of obese female college students than that of the method of doing resistance exercise before aerobic exercise.3.There was no significant difference between the two methods in the improvement of the body strength index.4.The method of alternating between resistance and aerobic exercise had better fitness results for obese female college students.
