Aerobic Exercise Combined With Resistance Exercise Study On Intervention Effect Of Arteriosclerosis Related Indicators In The Elderly

Purposes: Arteriosclerosis is an important indicator to evaluate the health status of the elderly.Arteriosclerosis is closely related to body composition.This study is based on previous studies that single aerobic exercise or resistance exercise can promote the health level of middle-aged people,and discusses the influence of aerobic exercise combined with resistance exercise on the related indexes of arteriosclerosis of the elderly,so as to provide basis for further exploring more scientific and reasonable exercise methods to promote the health of the elderly.Methods: 40 elderly people who met the experimental conditions were recruited from the community of Saihan District in Hohhot and finally determined to carry out the exercise intervention experiment as subjects.Through 12 weeks of 24-style Taijiquan combined with elastic belt resistance exercise,the related indexes of arteriosclerosis,body composition and body shape of the subjects before and after the experiment were measured and statistically processed by SPSS 21.0 software.The indexes before and after the exercise intervention were tested by paired sample T test,and the independent sample T test was used between the sexes.To analyze the effect of 12 weeks aerobic exercise combined with resistance exercise on arteriosclerosis,body composition and body shape related indexes of 65-75 years old.Results: the comparison between the indexes before and after the 12-week exercise intervention showed that after the 12-week exercise intervention,the body weight,BMI and waist circumference(WC)of male body shape indexes decreased significantly(p<0.01).Body fat,body fat rate(BFP),visceral fat area(VFA),triceps brachii skin fold and inferior horn skin fold in body composition index decreased significantly(P<0.01).Skeletal muscle,basal metabolic rate(BMR),protein and bone mineral(BMC)increased significantly(P<0.05).Right ankle systolic pressure(SBP),left upper arm SBP,left upper arm diastolic pressure(DBP)and left ankle SBP in arteriosclerosis index decreased significantly(P<0.05).Right brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(R-baPWV),left brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(L-baPWV)and left ankle-brachial index(L-ABI)decreased significantly(p<0.01).After 12 weeks of exercise intervention,WC and waist-hip ratio in female body shape decreased significantly(P<0.05).Skeletal muscle,degreased body weight,BMR,protein,inorganic salt and BMC in body composition index increased significantly(P<0.01).Body fat,BFP,VFA,triceps brachii skinfold and subscapular skinfold decreased significantly(P<0.05).In arteriosclerosis index,right upper arm SBP,right ankle SBP,right ankle DBP,left upper arm DBP,left ankle SBP and left ankle DBP decreased significantly(P<0.05).R-baPWV,L-baPWV and L-ABI decreased significantly(p<0.05).After 12 weeks of exercise intervention,the change rates of BMI,skeletal muscle,inorganic salt and BMC in males were significantly higher than those in females(P<0.05).Conclusion: 12 weeks of aerobic exercise combined with resistance exercise can improve the body composition of the elderly,especially manifested as reduced body fat,muscle mass and bone mineral growth;reduce the risk of atherosclerosis in the elderly,manifested by reduced brachial and ankle pulse wave conduction velocity,High blood pressure has improved.During the implementation of the sports intervention plan,the subjects showed satisfaction and positive attitude to the sports intervention plan,and no adverse reactions and accidents occurred.Therefore,aerobic exercise combined with resistance exercise can be used as an effective means to prevent arteriosclerosis in the elderly.
