Study On Construction Of Evaluation System On Academical Performance Of College Teachers

It is a vital issue for the higher education to evaluate the performances of teachers. It is a basic system which regulates academical behavior, maintains the order of academy and guarantees the paper quality. Besides, it brings magnificent changes and demonstration to the development of both higher educations and teachers. In recent years,due to institutional deficiencies about the evaluation system,more and more academic misconducts have draw wide attention of society and cause serious damage to reputation of teachers and educations. Improving the evaluation system and optimize academic working environment.Indeed, it is important to build a scientific and reasonable evaluation system on academical performance of college teachers,which has important significance on teachers'management and science.First of all, we should reidentify the concepts like the effects of papers to academy, academy performances, higher educations'performances and use the frequently-used quantizing means and fellows comments to analyze. Secondly, based on the former papers, we use h-index,w-index,e-index,m-quotient to form paper-quoted statistical datum line and teachers' academy reference map. With the combination of quantizing means and fellow comments, we construct a new evaluation system on academical performance of college teachers.Further, with the collected data from Scopus database,we build paper-quoted statistical datum line and h(w)-m,h(w)-e reference map to do an empirical study.The results indicate that the empirical study fits the facts well and the system shows a pragmatic value to college teachers'academic performance.Finally, after summary of the whole system, we put forward four main suggestions,which are advocate academic freedom in Colleges and Universities,the establishment of expert peer review system of university,strengthening moral education of teachers,improving the academic evaluation system in Universities.
