"The ordinary high school chemistry curriculum standard (experiment draft)"published in April, 2003 is an important document for our country's educational reformation in ordinary high school, which fully embodies the basic spirit of "national basic education course reformation guidelines (try out)" that is to make the students experience the process of scientific exploration and arouse the students' interests in learning English through a variety of inquiry activities of chemical experiments;furthermore, to strengthen their consciousness of scientific inquiry, promote the changes in the way of learning, and cultivate the students' innovation and practical ability". To promote the development of personality, cultivate the students' independent exploration and divergent thinking has become one of the important subjects which are applied in developing inquiry-based teaching and learning.In recent years, the college entrance examination proposition also fully embodies the modern teaching idea: pay attention to basic knowledge, cultivate the innovative ability. Paper mainly focuses on the students' ability of divergent thinking, diverse thinking ability, migration ability, the ability to analyze and solve problems.Divergent thinking is an important way of thinking, but also an important index for measuring innovative thinking. In this study, the application of divergent thinking in senior chemistry is regarded as the breakthrough point, which studies of the development of students' divergent thinking. The content of the research include: (1) how to rationally apply divergent thinking in senior chemistry review? (2) Can the application of divergent thinking in senior chemistry review stimulate the students' interest in learning chemistry?(3) Can it improve the students' divergent thinking ability? (4) Can it improve the effectiveness of the review?The content of this research is mainly composed of five parts. The first part is about the introduction, the main research problems, significance, ideas and methods. The second part focuses on the literature review,interpretation of the core concept of"divergent thinking"; also comprehensive review of this study related research at home and abroad. The third part introduces the theoretical research on the application of divergent thinking in senior chemistry review. The fourth part is related to three aspects in experimental studies, including surveying the students' interest in learning chemistry between experimental classes and comparative classes before the trials; Secondly,the development of divergent thinking ability between experimental classes and comparative classes; Thirdly, to comparatively analyze the grades in starting class in September and February adjustable examination results after the experiment. The fifth part expounds the research conclusions, inspiration, and innovation and deficiency.
