Agrestic geography is a small-scale unit of regional geographical and the most basic part of comprehensive geography. It is also a complex geographical region that promote the local natural geography, human geography and the correlations of them to realize sustainable development. Even though the high school agrestic geography teaching isn't a dependent course,but it is an essential part of the geography. In High School Geography Curriculum Standard, agrestic geography is an important content of geography teaching. Local chronicles with a comprehensive approach to describe the natural environments and humanities of an administrative region. Its essential attribute is material writing. Apply local chronicles to agrestic geography education is a concrete practice to implement course objectives. The significance of this study: From the geography education dimensions, that we combine local chronicles with geography case method. The research content on the student's living area and helping them to understand the living environment around, guide them to practice and cultivate theirs practical ability.Moreover, set up the concept of sustainable development; enhance the love for the motherland and hometown. Meanwhile break the traditional barriers of conceptual that national teaching material is the only curriculum resources. In practice, promote structure and function of the curriculum resources is employment-rationalization and allocation-optimization,to speed up the construction of curriculum resources and structure can be reconfigured or adjusted, content updated. Widen the source of the high school geography teaching resources, develop local geography curriculums, to break the disciplinary boundaries based on keep the geographical characteristics, encourage different disciplines curriculum resources integrate each other. From develops the content of geography research dimensions, local geography research based on the sectorial geography, from the scope, it is a part of the regional geography. Local chronicles studies and written the actual situation somewhere about, therefore has local and regional characteristics natural, the scope of its account with agrestic geography space has natural coupling. In terms of study characteristics,both too the local chronicles and regional geography emphasize area traditional, the account object have clearly even strict geographical range. As a result, local chronicles studies are also an important supplement to the sectorial geography.The introduction part introduces the background of this thesis, and analyzes the theoretical and practical significance of the research. This paper summarizes the research status both at home and abroad, and points out the main research contents and methods.In the second chapter, the connotation, the foundation and the value orientation of the agrestic geography education are defined. It discusses the status and functions of local geography education, summarizes the status of its implementation of the universality of the problem and face.The third chapter discusses the value and function of the resources of the agrestic geography curriculum. This paper discusses the difference and connection between the geography curriculum resources and the geographical textbook series. Moreover, it clarifies the status and function of the resources of the local geography curriculum. This paper discusses the significance of the development of agrestic geography curriculum resources and explains the process of curriculum resources development.The fourth chapter expounds the concept and connotation of the local chronicles.Defined the function and value of the local chronicles. In the development of agrestic geography curriculum resources, Baotou City has been used as the research area and scale range,and the course content of many local chronicles is applied to the curriculum of local geography curriculum resources.The sixth chapter,in the conclusion part, illustrates the innovation and characteristics of this paper, examines the problems and shortcomings of the study, and looks forward to the follow-up work and research direction.
