In the long Chinese history, our ancestors created rich and excellent culture. The Chinese nation completed set of cultural system, such as traditional holidays, astronomical calendar, geography, the patriarchal customs, the appellation, imperial examination system, ceremony system, food and tourism, etc. These folk customs and the state system are general knowledge about Chinese ancient culture that we call today. general knowledge about Chinese ancient culture has important significance and value in the shaping of personality, cultivating sentiment. However, for some reasons, the teaching of general knowledge about Chinese ancient culture has so many problems.In order to learn the teaching situation of general knowledge about Chinese ancient culture and improve the teaching efficiency and quality, I take No. 1 high school in Huangpi as an example, conduct investigation and study, find out the problems, put forward the teaching implementation strategy.This paper is mainly composed of four parts. The first part is the introduction,mainly including the concept of definition, teaching status, the status of the study, the scope and methods of research. The second part is the investigation and analysis of the status quo of cultural common sense teaching of No. 1 high school in Huangpi. The survey mainly includes the following aspects: students' attitudes and cognition of studying general knowledge about Chinese ancient culture,students' attitudes and cognition of teaching materials,learning habits and learning methods; The survey of teachers mainly includs the teachers 'teaching attitude, teachers 'attitudes and cognition of teaching materials, the cultivation of students' habits, teaching methods and so on. The third part combs the general knowledge about Chinese ancient culture in the high school stage, including the the appellation,imperial examination system,the patriarchal customs and the astronomy and geography. The fourth part puts forward six teaching strategies , including creating a situation to stimulate interest, contacting with the actual life to understand knowledge,breaking up the whole into parts, studying special topic , multiple comparison and knowledge competition. The last part is the conclusion.
