The university stage is an important turning point for young people to experience independently.Freshmen may be faced with difficulties and challenges on adapting education,interpersonal communication and professional identity.University freshmen leave their parents,peer group is the main contact of this stage,so peer interaction is one of the major issues that need to be deal with in the adaptation stage.Due to everyone,s personal ability of adaption,the family cultural environment disturbance and external support are different,so students in the psychological and behavioral aspects of the degree of interpersonal barriers are also different.Therefore,the abnormal behaviors and psychological problems become increasingly diversified and complicated.For the individual level of students,the demand of looking for more resources to help themselves to adapt to interpersonal communication as soon as possible is increasing.And for students whether they can handle the relationship between the peer groups well that will affect their future development.For the level of mental health education?Ideological and political education,taking effective ways to assist college students transition smoothly,guide the students to complete the role change and adaptation,promote the University Freshmen's psychological and physiological healthily development is an important task of the university.However,the traditional education idea and the method have hysteresis,the way of Ideological and political education cannot completely solve the freshmen's problems about peer interaction.Therefore,this study will use the work mode of developing group intervention on peer interaction of freshmen as the main topic.Clarify the problems and causes of peer interaction and the characteristics of post 90s freshmen.Then design team work in changing self-cognition and social cognition,enhancing interpersonal skills,strengthening the management of emotion,and stimulating individual potential.And explore the effective mode and intervention strategies for peer interaction of freshmen.In this study,we selected 7 freshmen from the Rural Development Institute of N University in Nanjing as the research object.Based on the understanding and analysis of the characteristics of physical and mental development of the contemporary college freshmen use the method of questionnaire,semi-structured interviews to analyze the major problems about the peer interaction the freshmen are facing.It is found the Inter:personal behavior disorder,Interpersonal confusion,the confusion of the way of getting along with peer and the difficulties of relating to the opposite sex are the main problems about the peer interaction.After the actual investigation,it is found that the reasons of these problems are the changes of the extermal environment,the lack of their psychological and social adaptability and their family.Therefore,in this study selecting the work mode of developing group intervention on the Interpersonal adaptation training course of freshmen,using group dynamics theory and the Interpersonal need theory as the theoretical guidance,organizing a variety of group activities with the themes of the interpersonal acquaintance,group cooperation,self-understanding,self-pleasing,emotional management,role playing,adaptation with self and environment,look forward to the future,to assist freshmen in the interaction learning from each other how to deal with the challenges,solve the problems about peer interaction.In a safe,trust and acceptance atmosphere assist team members from the new angle of view to recognize the knowledge of self and others,develop appropriate and effective communication skills and promote the Interpersonal skills.The personal growth in the group plays a personal social function,and develops a good social adaptability.Sharing,feedback and summary in each unit,each link of the group interaction strengthen the group interaction effectively,encourage team members will interact with the feelings and experience in daily life,making college students really enhance the ability to adapt and respond independently to a challenge,to solve the problem.
