Chemistry is a natural science based on experiments. High school chemistry teachers should give full play to the function of experimental teaching, and train students' core chemical literacy through innovative experimental teaching. In order to get a comprehensive understanding of the current status of innovation chemistry experiment teaching in high school, we carried on the questionnaire survey on 150 students in Grade two of high school in Shandong and Zhejiang, and did in-depth interview with ten chemistry teachers teaching Senior One chemistry, and finally collected and analyzed the survey results. After the investigation, the author made innovation design and practice research on 8 defective chemical experiments in chemistry 1 according to the design principle and concept of innovation chemistry experiments in high school. After the teaching practice, the author carried on the questionnaire survey on students from the three perspectives of interest in learning, participation and innovation ability, and made the objective evaluation on innovative experimental teaching. The survey results showed that the innovative experiment teaching played a promoted role in improving students' interest in chemistry learning, experimental participation and improving innovation ability.Through this study, the author found that the current innovation chemical experiment teaching in high school was still in a lower level.Chemistry teachers should not stick to traditional experiment forms, and should further develop and apply innovative experiment, and increase the safety, green, exploring and conciseness of experiments for a better experiment teaching, promoting the students' interest in learning and innovation ability.
