In the whole big under the background of the reform of college physical education,many colleges and universities nationwide are actively explore for school development and conducive to the development of students physical education teaching methods.The traditional sports teaching mode has already can not adapt to the requirement of the university teaching now,and to improve students' enthusiasm to participate in sports;Traditional teaching in the outline of mastery of skills and the requirements of the standard as the main content,all to the score height to assess teachers teaching quality and students' mastery of sports skills,this obviously can't adapt to the new period of the university sports teaching requirements.The volleyball teaching as an important part of college physical education teaching,also should adapt to the requirement of teaching reform,the characteristics of volleyball is the high technical requirements,tactics,strong,for the ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities student's volleyball teaching has brought the huge challenge.Common saying say "interest is the best teacher",only cultivate the students' interest in active participation in volleyball,trying to explore a good teaching mode that suit the development of students body and mind,to improve the participation of sports,improve the quality of teaching.This study to the university volleyball general course teaching theory of goal setting is applied in the empirical research\" as the breakthrough point of the research,to Qingdao university of science and technology as the study case,using the method of documentary,teaching experiment,logic analysis,mathematical statistics and other research methods,in-depth discussion and research,in order to explore common public physical education in colleges and universities teaching high school students to participate in volleyball sports motivation and improve the mechanism of the volleyball teaching,in order to achieve the Qingdao polytechnic university volleyball teaching reform and formulate a set of characteristics and actual situation,suitable for students to improve the effect of volleyball teaching,strengthen students' sportsparticipation,provide good use value and theory reference.Through this research in order to obtain the following results:1.In the common course of volleyball teaching,the goal setting theory applied to teaching can improve the skills to master.2.Goal setting theory will improve the students' performance,enhance the students' sports participation,improve the teaching effectiveness and efficiency.3.The goal setting theory can enhance students' classroom performance,enhance students' subjectivity and teachers' leading role.4.Improve the students' sports participation,promote the enthusiasm of the students participate in sports,build good sports atmosphere.
