In recent years, the "cohesion" in the teaching of language and literature has been widely mentioned. Especially since the < Chinese curriculum standards of compulsory stage > (2011 Edition) issued, the education sectors have emphasized the thought of nine years consistent. So teaching connection problems have entered into the research field.Classical Chinese has a long history. The teaching of classical Chinese is an important branch of Chinese reading teaching. Students usually learn classical Chinese in formal classroom at the high grade of primary school or the first grade of middle school.After students enter the middle schools, the number and difficulty of learning classical Chinese is rising. But many students are not interested in classical Chinese learning even fear the classical Chinese learning. If this situation continues, it will affect classical Chinese learning in high school. Paying close attention to classical Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools is particularly important to the classical learning.This paper starts at the convergence of classical Chinese teaching in primary and middle schools. Firstly, combing the research of Chinese teaching, classical Chinese teaching and the convergence of teaching strategies in primary and middle schools to grasp the research status of related issues. At the same time, investigating the primary and secondary schools in Shuanggou town of Xuzhou City of Jiangsu Province by questionnaire survey and case interview. Analyzing the current situation of classical Chinese connection teaching in primary and secondary schools and concluding the causes of convergence problems through the statistical data of investigation: the lack of compulsory education curriculum standards of classical Chinese, the problems of the use of teaching materials in this town, the difference of students' physical and mental characteristics and learning methods in elementary and middle schools, the lack of cohesive teaching management system and evaluation system in primary and middle schools. And teachers lack awareness and teaching methods of classical Chinese contact teaching in primary and middle school. In order to find ways of solving the convergence problems in classical Chinese teaching, based on the "classical Chinese teaching cohesion",this paper analyses related classroom observation and teaching design and contact with the actual teaching closely. I think that we can start from the causes of the convergence problem to take corresponding ways: For example, making clear the standard of Chinese classical part in Chinese curriculum standard in compulsory education stage, arranging and using of teaching materials correctly, providing more exchange opportunities for Chinese teachers in primary and middle schools, establishing and perfecting the relevant cohesive management and evaluation system, improving the primary and middle school teachers' consciousness of classical Chinese convergence teaching. These ways can help students complete the transition of classical Chinese learning in primary and middle school.
