At present, the development condition of"Left-behind Children in Rural China"is a hot issue for people from all walks. One of the reasons is that the number of left-behind children is quite great, which nearly equals that of the other children in rural China; the other reason is that in many aspects, such as study, life security, health, characteristics, relationship and behavior, there are many quite serious problems. If we can not solve such problems properly, our society would be heavily harmed heavily. Left-behind children in rural China form a very special group. It is partly because that the juniors are during their second important period of physical growth. The contradiction between the gradually-mature bodies and the immature minds leads to more mental conflicts, which the juniors have to experience. Therefore, it is easier for the juniors to have some psychological and behavioral problems. According to the study, the psychological health of the juniors is the most serious among students in primary, junior and high schools in the countryside. Thus, the educational and psychological research on these left-behind children, especially the junior middle schools students of them, should be an important task at present. So far , the study on the left-behind junior middle school students is still rare.As for the non-physical environment of families of the juniors, the writer has investigated with FEU-CV and examined the physical environment by making questionnaires, through which the writer intends to seek for the main factors which influence the development of these middle school students.Moreover, the writer tries to find out the chief aspects of their psychological health by investigating the conditions of psychological health of left-behind children in rural China with MHT.The research shows:Firstly, the basic features of the non-physical environment of left-behind children in rural China: Generally, the relationship of their parents is good, the relationship between the children and their parents is harmonious, and the relationships these junior middle school students maintain with their mothers are better than their fathers; the degree of intimacy, expression of feelings, development, success, knowledge, amusement in FEU-CU is obviously lower than the average in our country and the contradiction is higher obviously than the average degree of our country.Secondly, the basic features of the physical environment of these junior middle school students: their parents have no stable jobs, nor fixed working places and their jobs are mobile; There are great economic progress in the life of these left-behind children; the education level of the parents is low in general and the mothers'is lower.Thirdly, the condition of psychological health of these left-behind children in rural China: in general, the degree of the psychological health is low; among girls and those in Grade One, in particularly, the degree is higher.Fourthly, the physical environment of these children influences their psychological health: the education the father has received and whether they are only children are closely linked to their anxiety; whether they are only children can forecast obviously their anxiety towards others.Fifthly, the non-physical environment of these children influences their psychological health: the relationship between fathers and children can heavily forecast the tendency factors of the reproach on oneself and the tendency of impulse. The relationship between mothers and children can better forecast the tendency of solitude, body symptom and total score on the psychological scale and best forecast impulse tendency. The degrees of intimacy, expression of feelings, contradiction and organization of FEV-CV have a great influence on the psychological health of these left-behind rural children.
