| In the practical teaching,teachers tend to ignore the importance of assignment design-an component of essential importance in teaching activities.According to the result of research,teachers are inclined to access to the exercises available and seldom design assignment based on the teaching contents and conditions of students without focus and diversity.Against the general backdrop of study methods emphasizing self-independence,cooperation and inquiry,it is not universal to see the combination of inquiry and assignment.So the article,grounded in the massive review of the literature,devides the geographical inquiry design into four categories: literature inquiry,research inquiry,experiment inquiry and design inquiry.On the basis of the above mentioned four categories,we study the design process and approaches of inquiry assignment to provide reference for teachers to design inquiry assignment.The article mainly covers 5 parts as follows:The first part is the introduction.Based on the literature and status quo research,the research background and meaning can be presented.The current status of the research home and abroad can be analysed from the assignment design and inquiry assignment.The second part sorts and defines four categories: assignment,inquiry assignment,geographical inquiry assignment and design of geographical inquiry assignment.The four theories of constructivism,humanism,multiple intelligence and learning by doing support the argumentation of the article.The third part is status quo research.Targeting the Yuntong middle school in Kunming city,the questionaire and interview are conducted to research into the current status of implementing the geographical inquiry assignment in this school.The fourth part is design of geographical inquiry assignment.The assignment design should follow the principles of stepped appearance,life quality,open-mindedness and appropriateness.The existing research is learned,the general process of design of inquiry assignment is performed,the typical cases are chosen and the four assignment of literature inquiry,research inquiry,experiment inquiry and design inquiry can are analyzed and researched.The fifth part is conclusion.The result of research in the article is concluded and the follow-up prospects aimed at research is raised. |
