| Thrifty treated as a traditional virtue of China is a needed moral character to a person's success,and more of a spirit quality to the long-term development of a country.In December 2012,General Secretary Xi Jinping sat a meeting of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee.The meeting adopted eight rules on improving the party's style of work and keeping in close contact with the masses.Accordingly,the party set up an activity named "thrift service" and "anti-extravagance".Following closely,Xi Jinping strongly declared in Xinhua News Agency,a passage titled "netizens' calling to curb squander on dining sector-waste on tongue and he said a policy of practicing strict economy and combating waste must be carried out.At this point,the opposition to waste within the party extended to the requirements of the whole society against waste.Civilian actively respond to this call and a public welfare activity on the subject of "CD-ROM action" started up in full swing.Many of such cases reflect the new generation of leaders for the importance of thrift thinking.As the backbone of social development--college students,how to foster their thrifty ideas,has became a main and serious problem currently.Therefore,drawing on Xi Jinping's thrifty thoughts and making an in-depth analysis on the ideological education of college students should be important theoretical and practical issues for the current civic education.This paper combined with three parts;the first one expounds the formation of Xi Jinping thrifty thought background,sources of thought,and the connotation of it and contemporary value of it.The second part analyzes the present situation and influencing factors of thrift on university students by means of questionnaires.The third part is the revelation of Xi Jinping thrifty thought to the contemporary university students' thrifty education.This part mainly borrows Xi Jinping thrifty thought to exert its advantageous function on the university students' thrifty education. |
