In recent years,with the social and economic development of Xinjiang and higher education reform in colleges and universities,walking in the campus of major universities in Xinjiang,we often encounter students from different provinces in the Mainland,familiar with the accent so that we feel more cordial.In Xinjiang,students choose to go to the mainland or stay in Xinjiang to study,traveled thousands of miles to mainland students have become a common practice,as a student in the line of a special group,they not only have to face the students to face learning Life,emotional and other issues,but also to adapt to Xinjiang's special ecological environment and multi-ethnic,multi-cultural,religious blend of change,which makes their social adaptation problems become more prominent,from the mainland students in Xinjiang level of adaptation will not only affect its Its own development,but also affect the national unity and social stability in Xinjiang.In order to make the mainland students more quickly adapt to the learning life of Xinjiang colleges and universities,the author thinks that it is necessary to study the social adaptation of students in mainland China.At present,there are few researches on this aspect in Xinjiang,so this research is of great significance.In order to better understand the general situation of social adaptation of students in Xinjiang universities in Xinjiang,this paper takes the representative Xinjiang universities in Xinjiang as an example,and uses the methods of questionnaire and case interviews to carry on the empirical research on the mainland students,from the natural environment adaptation,life adaptation,learning adaptation This paper puts forward that there are differences in the social adaptability of mainland college students in Xinjiang universities,the differences of different places of origin and different ethnic groups,and further analyzes that the social adaptability of mainland students is affected by the social adaptation of the mainland students.Family,cultural and geographical conditions,the impact of individual differences,so as to propose from the school,social work,family,individual level to improve the social adaptation of mainland students in specific measures.In this paper,try to use the concept of social work,so as to better improve the social adaptability of students in the Mainland,with a certain development and innovation.The research of this paper will help to further enrich the social adaptation research of college students in border ethnic areas,and explore and try in terms of topic selection and discussion.So as to provide guidance and reference for the development of colleges and universities in ethnic areas,to improve the talent structure of Xinjiang and to promote the development of ethnic areas.
