Hand Writing has more than 20 years of the teaching area.However it mainly applied to English teaching.This paper mainly does the research how to use handing writing in Mandarin teaching while giving some specific examples in Mandarin class.The writer gathered some theories to prove the feasibility,including Imagine Theory,Direct Teaching Method and Cognitive Psychology from Children's Aspect.The imagine theory explain that Chinese characters have the characteristics of visual.Drawing picture is one of the teaching methods of direct teaching method,which applies to low grade in primary is scientific.All examples of hand writing are from Mandarin class in Eylon Christian School in Surabaya Indonesia.Including characters,grammar,text and composition.The writer give a summary of advantages and disadvantages of hand writing in Mandarin.What' s more,here are some results of research of Mandarin combines with hand writing.
