These years our country attaches great importance to the development of secondary vocational education and relevant supporting policies and measures have been introduced gradually to promote the rapid development of secondary vocational education so that problem of skilled talent gap in economic and social development have been partly solved.However,with the continuous development of secondary vocational education,admission difficulties are increasingly prominent.Statistics show that since the number of secondary vocational students has reached its largest number,the number of national secondary vocational school enrolments has been decreasing so that the number of secondary vocational schools has become smaller.This is far from meeting the requirement of our country of having roughly the same number of average high schools as that of secondary vocational schools.In this paper,three secondary vocational schools are the research objects,by adopting the combination of qualitative research and quantitative research methods,and we systematically elaborate on the problems and their causes in the admissions of three secondary vocational college in S city in Xinjiang,and offers optimization strategies for the problems.This thesis studies the admission problems and their solutions of secondary vocational education in Xinjiang.The students of three secondary vocational schools in S city are the research objects.To solve the problem of admission in these schools,questionnaires and interviews are used to carry out in-depth investigation among the leaders,teachers and students of these schools.A great deal of research has been conducted to over the crisis of admission of secondary vocational schools.This thesis tries to pin down the causes of the crisis of admission in these three secondary vocational schools of S city in Xinjiang.The crisis has various reasons.This paper analyses the reasons from inside and outside.Population is a cause but secondary vocational education itself and social environment,government support,etc.are also reasons.This article analyses from the four aspects of the government,society,schools,enterprises.We need to increase the support of secondary vocational education development,vigorously develop the economy of the region,try to break the recruitment of local protectionism,create a good atmosphere of respect for people,the transformation of the public recognition and the error of secondary vocational education,show the features of the school,focus on brand publicity,optimization of school professional,course installation,strengthen the construction of school teacher team,pay attention to the improvement of the management level,strengthen employment guidance,enterprise transformation concept of choose and employ people,strengthen training cooperation between enterprises and schools.In order to successfully solve these secondary vocational schools’ admission crisis,we should promote healthy development of several schools,so as to offer theoretical assistance to the healthy development of secondary vocational education in Xinjiang.
