The cultivation of talents in social physical education is of great importance to the improvement of nationals' physical fitness.In order to train sports talents,the related training pattern should be constantly improved so as to satisfy the need of our society.Based on analyzing the current situation of social sports instruction and management major in Chinese higher education institutes,this thesis will explore the viability of applying CDIO mode in the social sports instruction and management major's development system.This thesis will study the training mode of social sports instruction and management major in higher education institutes.Firstly,by analyzing the students majoring in social physical education in business college in Yunnan Normal University,the author will delve into the current situation of education within this major.At the beginning stage,on the basis of reading a large amount of literature,the author will design questionnaires accordingly and conduct sampling questionnaire survey on students from class 2012,2013 and 2014 studying in social sports instruction and management major in Yunnan Normal University.After the survey,the statistics will be analyzed and collected,and the status quo as well as problems existing in social sports talents training system will be found.In the end,this thesis will discuss in detail the idea,connotation,structure,and characteristics of CDIO mode and the viability of introducing CDIO mode considering the problems existing in the reality.1.CDIO concept is both advanced and practical,which is in line with the idea of developing social sports talents that the modern society is in need of.The CDIO concept requires objects to acquire basic theoretical knowledge,however,it lays more emphasis on practice instead.Having been trained to put theory into practice,graduates will swiftly adapt themselves into their job,thus satisfying the need of our society.Based on the above analysis,there exists a theoretical support for adopting CDIO mode into the training system of social sports talents development.2.In terms of curriculum design and implementation,CDIO mode encourages “Learning while Practicing”,with the key teaching content being integrated teaching.Considering the demand of our society,CDIO mode focuses on the cultivation of students' comprehensive abilities.Therefore,CDIO can be considered as a systematic training process which satisfies the demand of society.3.During the assessment of social sports instruction and management major,CDIO emphasizes the combination of three methods,namely teacher's assessment,classmates' assessment and self assessment.This kind of assessment method pays attention to both results and learning process,thus is considered to be better than the traditional ones.4.Establishing training base inside and outside campus is beneficial to the improvement of social sports instruction and management majors' learning ability,and is considered as an integral part of practice education in CDIO mode.5.Under CDIO mode,teachers from social sports instruction and management major play a role of a guide during teaching process.Teachers are motivated to cultivate social sports talents who have solid knowledge,focus on practice,and professionals who excel at self-learning,dealing with interpersonal relationship and conducting team work.
