In 2003 China's Ministry of Education issued “ Music Curriculum Standards of Ordinary High School”(Experimental),which clarified China's targets and direction of music teaching in ordinary high school.The reform of high school music classes divided China's high school music classes into six modules: music appreciation,singing,playing,creating,music and dance,music and drama,among which music appreciation is compulsory module and the other five modules are elective modules.The singing module is one of the elective modules with highest class rate in high school music class,as well as one of the most popular courses.Singing can not only bring endless happiness,but also improve a person's cultural conservation;at the same time,it can cultivate students' aesthetic ability and expand students' cultural vision.New curriculum standards require that “ singing: students personally participate and directly experience music performance activities,to enjoy the fun presented by the music,mold characters,improve the expressive ability of musics.1” The solo teaching in high school singing module is not to cultivate solo performers,but to let high school students experience diversified performing forms and expanding their visions.Since students have a strong interest in solo sings in collective teaching form of singing modules,how to develop solo teaching becomes the task faced by music teachers.Therefore,this thesis made a study through the exploration of teaching practice.This thesis analyzed the reform of high school music curriculum and explored the problems in the solo teaching of collective teaching form,through the combination of physical and mental characteristics of high school students and cultivation targets.It tried to find the method of solo teaching more suitable for collective teaching form of singing module,and then proposed relevant resolutions.
