From the beginning of human origin so far, every step of social progress can not be separated from human activities.History is full and full of life because of human participation. For the history teaching of high school, historical figures have their own advantages because of their demonstration and infectious characteristics, such as the cultivation of students' personality morality and the improvement of historical accomplishment. In recent years, under the request of the new curriculum reform, the academic circles have carried on the thorough research and the exploration to the high school historical figure teaching from the theory to the practice, have presented many excellent research results. However, in these studies, there are some theories and practice out of touch, general teaching strategies and other issues. On the basis of full investigation, the author analyzes the present situation of the history teaching of high school and puts forward the improvement strategy method, and tries to supplement the current research results.This article consists of four parts:The first part is the introduction. The author takes the new curriculum reform as the guidance,the reason of the topic, the research results of the historical characters in recent years, the research methods adopted in this paper are summarized.The second part expounds the significance of the teaching of historical figures in high school from the aspects of the requirements of high school history and the requirements of students'development.The third part mainly studies and analyzes the status quo of teaching materials and characters in senior high school. The author uses the method of questionnaire survey and interview to analyze the current situation of teachers' teaching and the students' learning achievement, and points out the problems in the teaching process and the students' learning process, and analyzes the causes of these phenomena.The fourth part focuses on the problems raised above, starting from the two aspects of curriculum resources and practical teaching, and puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the teaching of historical figures in senior high schools.The fifth part of the main synthesis, from the principles of teaching and techniques, puts forward general Suggestions on the teaching of high school historical figures.
