Chemical terms are the core and difficulty of learning chemistry in junior middle school students.Whether students learn chemistry well or not,all decided by chemical terms which are the only and important factor of chemical knowledge,it not only influences the results of students' learning chemistry directly,but also influences the students' enthusiasm in learning chemistry,therefore,chemical terms play the core position and important enlightenment role in the junior middle school students.Thanks to the bilingual students' Chinese level is limited,a large amount of Chinese memory,more abstract and difficult contents,teachers face greater difficulties in the bilingual teaching of chemistry with chemical terms in a short time,for bilingual middle school students,chemical languages are regarded as a "third language".This paper adopts the researching method of literature,questionnaire,interviewing,evaluation,studies and investigates on current situation of chemistry teaching in Zepu(Poskam)County for bilingual students.It involves in the students' understanding of the importance of chemistry curriculum,chemistry learning,chemical terms,chemical terms' learning and the learning methods of chemical terms,the situation of chemical terms of bilingual class testing and analysis.Then it combined the basis of chemistry teaching relevant theory with survey results in Zepu(Poskam)County bilingual students in chemistry learning and chemistry teaching problems,put forward relevant measures and suggestionsThis paper is divided into six parts: the first part is the introduction,it includes the research background,research significance,review of domestic and foreign research,research contents,research methods,research ideas and so on.The second part is the overview of theory,it includes the theory of bilingual teaching,the relevant theory of chemical terms,the theory of the process of chemical terms' learning.The third part is the investigation and analysis of current situation of chemical terms' learning in Zepu(Poskam)County bilingual middle school students.By investigation and analysis,I know that the bilingual middle school students' interest for chemistry is not enough,language ability is not high,the thinking process is restricted by some language obstacles,it's not enough to understand the instrumental of chemical terms and learning efficiency is low.Thefourth part is the analysis and results of the mastering level of the chemistry knowledge in the bilingual class.By questionnaire,I know that bilingual class students is better to recite and write chemical terms,but not standard,the overall level of the understanding of the connotation and application of thinking in chemical terms is low.The fifth part is the countermeasures and suggestions for the chemical terms' learning in Zepu(Poskam)County bilingual students.The last part is conclusions and reflections.
