Basketball is one of the most favorite sports for college students,and basketball course is the most popular course of the public physical education in colleges and universities,but in the process of teaching practice due to the large number of people choose basketball course,students' physical quality,basketball technical level differences,adopt the unified teaching goals and the way of practice is difficult to meet the learning needs of all students.So,what kind of teaching method in the teaching process using maximum limit arouses student's study enthusiasm,make they get the question of the comprehensive development education has become the main problem of thinking,on this basis,this paper puts forward the view of using stratified teaching in public male student basketball course in ordinary university.Based on the experiment of using stratified teaching in public male student basketball course in ordinary university as the research object,and selected 56 students from level 2014 public basketball option classes in class one and class four in Taiyuan university of technology as the subjects,experimental class and comparative class both has 28 boy students.The experimental class uses the stratified teaching,and the comparative class uses the traditional teaching,a total of 32 hours of teaching experiment for a semester.Aims to prove the significantdifference between the stratified teaching method and the traditional teaching method in the public male student basketball course teaching.This article uses the literature material method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method and mathematical statistics,The students in experimental class and that in comparative classes had been investigated and test before the experiment and after the experiment in exercise motivation,self-confidence,students basic information,physical quality and basketball special skills,and compared the results of investigation and test analysis.The results show that:through the stratified teaching,there is no significant difference between the experimental class and the comparative class in the student's basic situation test index,the height and weight of the students from two classes did not change.There is significant difference between the experimental class and the comparative class in the three physical quality test index,experimental class' s shuttle run,bench press,touching height with running performance were better than the comparative class.there is significant difference between the experimental class and the comparative class in the exercise motivation,self-confidence,the experimental class were higher than the comparative class.There is significant difference between the experimental class and the comparative class in the 6 basketball special skills test index,experimental class' s U dribbling round-trip layup at half-time,dribbling round-trip layup in full-court,free throws,passing and catching basketball and layup in full-court,dribbling bypass obstacle and layup in full-court,shooting and catching rebound in a minute results were better than the comparative class.The conclusion of the stratified teaching experiment is that:stratified teaching can improve students' physical quality,sports motivation,self-confidence,the basketball skills better than traditional teaching method;Fully Reflected the stratified teaching according to their aptitude,meet the individual learning needs of students at the same time,and make the overall level of the class get promoted;Citing the lifting mechanism in the process of stratified teaching can promote the development of students' competitive consciousness.The suggestions of the stratified teaching experiment is that:under the background of education in the new era,teachers should give priority to the all-round development of students,improving their own quality and comprehensive ability and have the courage to try new teaching methods,according to the actual situation choose stratified teaching method in the public basketball in colleges and universities;It can send teaching assistant or helper to alleviate the pressure of the teachers' teaching;The teacher should always communicate and exchange with the students,try to understand what is Physical Education for them,and eliminate students' psychological barriers;Aiming at various levels students ability design evaluation standard of different difficulty,optimize the assessment and evaluation system,to make the process more scientific and reasonable.
