As the builder and successor of the cause of socialism,college students are the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation.The level of their morality is directly related to the success or failure of the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.The current level of college students' moral cognition has been greatly improved.Most students have the correct outlook on life,world outlook and values,and they can make ethical selection and judgment when in the face of moral dilemma.However,when college students are in the specific situation,the performance of their moral behavior is not satisfactory and there is a widespread problem of misunderstanding in moral practice.For this problem,Wang Yangming's thesis of “syncretism of knowledge and action” is a good solution to solve the problem of the separation of moral cognition and behavior of college students.Based on the thesis of “syncretism of knowledge and action”,a series of theories on moral education are closely related to the inner requirements of moral education.Therefore,the author tries to explores the connotation of Wang Yangming's “syncretism of knowledge and action” and its moral significance,and applies it to the moral education so as to provide reference for solving the problems of current college students' morality.First,this study explores the moral meaning of Wang Yangming's theory of “syncretism of knowledge and action” and analyzes the connotation and requirements of moral education.On this base,the author finds out the coincidence of “syncretism of knowledge and action” and the moral education of college students.By distributing questionnaires to college students of five university students in Chongqing,this paper accurately grasps the current situation of college students' morality and the causes of the problem that college students' knowledge and practice are separated.Then the author puts forward some countermeasures to solve the moral disorder so as to enhance the effectiveness of moral education.Specifically,it includes the following five parts:The first part focuses on the thesis of “syncretism of knowledge and action” and its moral significance.This paper analyzes the connotation of “knowledge” and “action” based on Wang Yangming Complete Works and Biography as well as the background and related research results of Wang Yangming.Then the author explains the connotation of “syncretism of knowledge and action” from three aspects in detail and explores the moral value of this theory and its influence and status.The second part introduce the moral education of college students and the relevant theory.On the basis of clarifying the core concepts related to moral education,the author points out that moral education is the process of unity of knowledge and practice,and then explains the necessity of unity of knowledge and practice for college students' moral education.Lay the theoretical foundation for the follow-up study.The third part focuses on the investigation and analysis of the current situation of college students' morality in our country.After distributing the self-compiled questionnaire to full-time college students in five colleges in Chongqing,the study analyzes the survey data with the help of statistical software SPSS24.0 to do descriptive statistical analysis,independent sample T test,single factor ANOVA test and correlation analysis.This paper analyzes the current situation of college students' moral level from four aspects: the overall situation of college students' morality,the specific situation of each dimension,the comparison between different background variables and the correlation between moral cognition and moral behavior.The fourth part elaborates the concrete manifestation and the reasons of the moral disorder of college students.Combined with the survey data,the paper analyzes the specific performance of college students' morality in detail,and dissects the causes of college students' moral disorder from three dimensions of school,family and individual.The fifth part puts forward some concrete countermeasures to solve the problem of college students' moral disorder.Based on the reasons of college students' moral disorder,the paper puts forward some countermeasures by absorbing the theory of moral education in Wang Yangming's thesis of “syncretism of knowledge and action”.
