Since the 21 st century,along with the rapid expansion of the scale,yet the deepening of the quality crisis in higher education of China,the Attention to the influences and the expectation of growth in students' achievement have led to in-depth explorations on students' learning engagement,learning obtain and the relationship between them.Based on the four years' China College Student Survey(CCSS)data of undergraduates in Nanjing University,this paper explores the development of students' learning obtains of college students in four years and how students' learning engagement influence the development of their learning obtain.The study is divided into three parts: First,based on the documents research on literature of students' learning engagement,learning obtain and the surveying research of survey tools,this paper defines the connotation and engagement dimension of students' engagement and educational achievement.Secondly,with the four-year tracking data of the CCSS questionnaire,the linear growth model of the latent variable of learning obtain,the nonlinear quadratic growth curve model and the potential development model of the unqualified curve type were constructed by MPLUS tool.Thirdly,on the basis of exploring the development model of student education and increasing the covariates of learning engagement,this paper discuss the learning investment's affect on the students' learning obtain.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)In this study,college students' learning obtain is the degree of ascension of knowledge,ability and values through individual efforts and support gain,which reflects the quality during school.The learning engagement is the interaction between the individual engagement of the student and the support provided by the school and the teacher.In the CCSS tool,it is structured into five dimension: the academic challenge degree,active cooperative learning teacher-student interaction,educational practice abundance,campus environment support.(2)The developing trends of the overall education of the students and the three dimensions,include knowledge,ability and value outlook,is the spiral pattern,and the increase scale is decreasing year by year.The higher the initial value is,the slower the increase is.(3)There are significant differences in the initial value of individual education harvest(first grade measurement)and speed of development among different students.(4)In the demographic factors,gender has no affect on the growth of students' education.However,there is a significant difference in the growth of education among students in different disciplines.The average growth of the learning obtain of science students is higher than thatof artsy classmates..(5)The five dimensions of learning engagement have a significant positive effect on the initial value of education and the rate of change.(6)The level of interaction between teachers and students in learning has a significant affect on the growth of knowledge;The degree of educational experience and the support of campus environment have a positive promotion to the ability level of middle and high grade students;And the level of active cooperation and teacher-student interaction also have a significant facilitation on the Second and third grade students' values.(7)According to the principle of the development of learning obtain and the mechanism of learning investment influence on the learning obtain,the paper appeal to recognize the curve trajectory of the value-added development of students,and carry out education and teaching according to the law;look at the development of students with value-Learning investment,;attach great importance to learning engagement and promote the growth of student education;pay attention to discipline difference and improve the liberal arts students' learning obtain.
