In order to cultivate more ethnic minority talents and make full use of the educational resources in Xinjiang,following the class model of inland-high-school classes for Xinjiang students,an educational initiative named “ the Beginning Classes at Middle School in Xinjiang ” was launched in 2004 to promote the development of ethnic minority talents.The interaction between students and teachers not only consists of cooperation and harmony but also differences and conflicts.For the students in the Beginning Classes at Middle School in Xinjiang,the conflicts between students and teachers interfere with the progress and quality of the teaching plan,what's more,it harms national unity and social stability.By studying and reading the text materials about the study home and abroad of conflicts between students and teachers,the current studies and situation between students and teachers is known.Bases on this circumstance,the participatory observation is applied in the study about the conflicts between students and teachers of the Beginning Classes at Middle School in Xinjiang,which aims to explore the reasons and find out more effective resolutions to mitigate the conflicts and provide some theoretical supports and practical directions.This study observes the conflicts between students and teachers of the Beginning Classes at Middle School in Xinjiang,the frequency,condition and impacts of their conflicts.According to this,it finds that reasons for these conflicts between students and teachers of the Beginning Classes at Middle School in Xinjiang mainly arise from teacher's overlook of students' identity,the non-equivalence of the right and system of speech between students and teachers and the misconduct between students and teachers.But for students in the Beginning Classes at Middle School in Xinjiang,the neglect of the characteristics of teaching causes the old-fashioned teaching method,the difficulties for students and teachers to communicate with each other and the differences for students and teachers' cultural background.Owing to these reasons,this study put forward some strategies and suggestions respectively from the aspects of schools,teachers and students.In a word,the conflicts between students and teachers in the Beginning Classes at Middle School in Xinjiang vary in real teaching activities,and we can not find an universal way to solve these conflicts.And teachers,when they use this method in their real teaching activities,need form their own style according to different students and conditions they cope with.What is more important,both students and teachers should have a correct attitude towards conflicts,notice that conflicts play apositive role in certain ranges.Only by fully use of its positive aspect can we maintain a positive student-teacher relationship.
