| With The Plan of Degree and Postgraduate Education Development in 13 th Five-Year and The Measures for The Overall Plan to Promote The Construction of World-Class Universities and First-Class Disciplines(Provisional)formulated and put forward,it is the most important issue which higher education faces for the comprehensive reform and development fitting the new period and situation to how to implement the basic task of setting morality and cultivating talents,and improving the quality of postgraduate education entirely.As the highest-level talents,the integral strength of postgraduates directly affects the level of students,the development of disciplines,the quality of colleges and universities,and the advance of the nation.Examining and clarifying the thought of talents cultivation with the new perspective,key competencies are the link which becomes the new power of the educational reform and development in China.Therefore,it is the inherent requirement and the vital content of postgraduate education to train the key competencies of postgraduates,which is beneficial to the cultivation of high-quality and high-level talents,and is conducive to step onto the newly developmental level of higher education in China,and is in favor of achieving the grand blueprint for the future development of our country.This is the glorious mission and responsibility of colleges and universities.Combining with the arrangement and thought of the existing literature,I think the key competencies of postgraduates majoring in pedagogy are based on educational professional research abilities,supported by five aspects,namely,educational professional identity,educational professional academic characters,educational professional theoretical accumulation,educational professional humanistic spirit and educational professional practice accomplishment,etc.Based on these aspects of key competencies,we can perfect and supplement the existing abilities of students,and then set up the self-contained structure of key competencies with the characteristic pedagogy to enhance the whole strength of postgraduates majoring in pedagogy entirely.The research results show that the key competencies of postgraduates majoring in pedagogy are weak in general.There are some problems in educational professional identity,educational professional academic characters,educational professional theoretical accumulation,educational professional humanistic spirit and educational professional practice accomplishment.Five reasons mainly cause the bad present situation including the defects of the cultivation system design,the lack of curriculum,teaching and evaluation,the constraint of students’ weakness on basic abilities,the effect of the society’s value orientation,and the weak research environment.Aiming at solving these problems,I try my best to bring forward five measures to train the key competencies of postgraduates majoring in pedagogy,such as establishing the educational concept of key competencies,improving the cultivation system of pedagogy,reforming the educational evaluation of pedagogy,reinforcing the educational base of key competencies,and improving the cultural environment of key competencies.This time I research the present situation,the problems and the reasons causing these problems on the key competencies of postgraduates majoring in pedagogy and bring forward some improving measures to offer a reference and do the foreshadowing for the key competencies research of other disciplines and study sections. |
