As a highly comprehensive and inclusive discipline, education discipline needs to have amultidisciplinary background of talents to join in. Along with postgraduate expand enrollment year by yearand the upsurge of cross-major students enter for the postgraduate examination. More and moreinterdisciplinary background students appear in education discipline. Therefore, the problems that how totrain this kind of graduate students, how to in accordance with their own characteristics and then meet theneeds of individual development and social development, have already become an important topic in highereducation research presently.This dissertation contains the following five parts:Part I is introduction. This part mainly states the reasons for the rise of problems and themeanings of this study as well as the research status and shortcomings and the use of research methods.Part II is interpretation of pedagogy interdisciplinary background master graduate students.Firstly, we define the core concept and then explore the deep reasons of the interdisciplinary students toapply. Next, on the basis of the SWOT system analysis method, we analyze the particularity of theinterdisciplinary background master graduate students. Finally, we attempt to sum up these particularstudents’ growth cycle.Part III is a survey about the present training situation of interdisciplinary background mastergraduate students. In this part, through the questionnaire and interview form, we select pedagogy full-timegraduate students from six representative universities in nationwide as our respondents. At the same time,we select tens of pedagogy doctoral tutors and master tutors for interview. Through investigate and surveywe collect the current training situation materials.Part IV is current training problems analysis. In this part, we analyze the major problems intraining interdisciplinary background master graduate students existing today which based on the interviewresults and investigating data. The problems appear in the curriculum, teaching method, mentor guidance,scientific research training and students management.Part V is countermeasures and suggestions. Considering the existed problems during investigation, we propose some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the quality of education. Suchas renovation entrance selection mechanism, strengthen the elastic credit system, making personalizedtraining program, improving mentor’s guidance, cultivating students’ interest in learning and professionalability and integrating of all round resources so that students can write dissertation easily.
