Social Workers Involvement In Community Volunteer Service Research Under The Background Of The Policy About The Linkage Of Social Workers And Volunteers

In 2011,under the active promotion of the local,the 18 departments and organizations issued the Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of Social Work Professionals,which clearly put forward to "establish a service mechanism for connecting social work professionals and volunteer teams." Community,which is the base of the practice of social work services and volunteer service,is the important place to implement policies about the linkage of social workers and volunteers.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore the social workers' involvement in community volunteer service under the background of the policy about the linkage of social workers and volunteers.It is helpful to promote the implementation of the "the linkage of social workers and volunteers" policy,which will help to enrich the practical operation of community social work and contribute to the healthy development of community volunteer service.The paper uses literature research,participatory observation and interview method to carry out the research.The paper put forward the work model of social worker intervention in community volunteer service,which is based on the favorable policy about the linkage of social workers and volunteers,the current situation of urban community social work and community volunteer service development.This work pattern includes the objectives of the intervention,theory,principles,content and methods.Through the comprehensive study of the volunteer service project of the home comprehensive service center of J in Guangzhou City,it is found that social workers have achieved remarkable results in the community volunteer service.However,social workers difficult to grasp the principle of intervention,the public awareness rate of volunteer service is not high,the training set is unreasonable,incentives are single,the way of motivating is single means are not clear,and the activities of funds is not sufficient.According to that,the article puts forward the countermeasures to further promote the social service level.The countermeasures include developing an intervention target from "the linkage of social workers and volunteers" policy;strengthening the guidelines for social workers in principle;Flexible using of a variety of promotional tools to enhance the appeal of community volunteerism;establishing a training system oriented to community volunteer service demand;perfecting incentive and security system to stimulate community volunteer enthusiasm;Social workers can project development as a means to broaden the breadth and depth of community volunteer service;strengthen resource links and policy advocacy,and create a favorable external environment.
