| This article uses the theories of document literature,questionnaire investigation,site investigation,statistics,and logical analysis to investigate the current status of tennis sports in Shenzhen Nanshan district and analyze the major factors and problems of tennis sports in the district,from the aspects of features of tennis sports participants,current status of tennis squares and tennis coaches,competitions,and etc.Then this article raises some feasible strategies and suggestions aiming at these major factors and problems that influence tennis sports,so as to better develop tennis sports in Shenzhen Nanshan district.The following conclusions have been achieved through a series of investigations and researches:1.The atmosphere of tennis sports in Shenzhen Nanshan district is quite good.Participants are mainly male;most of participants are at the age between 41 and50;participants have stable career;participants are mainly with higher education;more participants earn more than 9000 RMB per month.2.Tennis participants in Shenzhen Nanshan District join in this type of sports mainly due to strengthening health status,personal interests,making new friends,and discharging pressures.They usually play tennis twice a week,after 6 pm.Participants would play in person or gather with their friends or families.3.Facilities of tennis squares in Shenzhen Nanshan district are insufficient and distribute mainly at colleges,tennis centers and high-end living buildings,which may not satisfy the increasing requirements of social residence.4.Tennis coaches in Shenzhen Nanshan district mainly come from colleges and professional tennis players,who are with qualified professional practical skills.Yet,65% of them are without tennis coach certificates.General teaching skills are expected to be improved.5.Major factors that influence the tennis sports in Shenzhen Nanshan district are:subjective factor of tennis sports participants,insufficient and imbalanced distribution of tennis facilities,teaching skills of tennis coaches,attentions and supports from the local government,living conditions of the residents,atmosphere of tennis sports.6.Major problems that influence the tennis sports in Shenzhen Nanshan district are:lack of communication between communities in the district,imbalanced distribution of tennis facilities,unqualified teaching skills of tennis coaches.7.Strategies to sustain better development of tennis sports: more supports from the local government,increasing tennis facilities,improving the management system of sports organizers,holding more tennis competitions,strengthening the team of tennis coaches,promoting tennis sports culture. |
