Research On The Path Of Youth Identity Recognition In The Communication Of Chinese Indie Music

Music is one of the main entertainments in people's daily living.Indie music,as a branch of youth subculture receives great popularity among the young people.Chinese indie music has been on a rise in recent years.Although unavoidably it is becoming more and more incorporated,it is still a main way for young people to show their difference and style,build identity recognition in the society and also the rebellion against the mainstream culture.Young people are not only the main group in building the subculture system but also the transmitter of it.This research is based on the youth subculture theory of Birmingham School,except for which also consult to the theories of communication,psychology and sociology.The research studied the contents and forms of Chinese indie music and analyzed the construction of communication mechanism in it,through which to point out the overall path starting with identity anxiety,identity recognition,and resistance,then,became incorporated eventually among the youth in the sophisticated society environment.It intends to bring out a practical way to develop and promote the indie music in subculture of the youth through analyzing the realistic significance of the youth subculture.
