Nowadays,methodological requirements of high school classical Chinese teaching put more emphasis on focusing on students' emotion,attitude and value development.Moreover,college entrance examination also tends to test students' reading ability and literacy of classical Chinese.Classical Chinese teaching makes up a very large proportion of Chinese teaching in high school.But now single method and not enough attention paid to students resultin low teaching efficiency and low interests in learning classical Chineseamong students.Based on above,author tries to increase the efficiency of classical Chinese reading teaching and arouse students' interests by the way of applying situational method.As a result,the enthusiasm and initiative are improved in learning classical Chinese.This paper can be put into four parts:The first part is about related theory of situation method.That is the meaning and study state at home and abroad of situation method.The second part is about some problems existing in the high school classical Chinese reading teaching.Through the survey result of the 18 Chinese teachers' classical Chinese teaching design in high school,we can learn about the application of situation method in high school.At the same time,author also analyzes some problems existing in the application of situation method in the process of classical Chinese teaching by after-class interview.The third part is about how to apply situation method to high school classical Chinese reading teaching.The necessity ofapplying situation method to high school classical Chinese reading teaching is also discussed from two aspects.These are the characteristic of high school' classical Chinese text and the advantages of situation method in the teaching process of classical Chinese reading.Then the principle of applying situation method to high school classical Chinese reading teaching is put forward.That is the principle of arousing the interests of students,the principle of reasonableness and the principle of appropriateness.Finally,the best method and strategy is summed up according to the characteristics of high school classical Chinese.The last part points out four problems that high school teaches are required to pay attention to in the process of classical Chinese situational teaching.Firstly,teachers should require enough knowledge.Secondly,teachers need to pour all their sentiments into teaching.Thirdly,students should be trusted and given enough freedom to think.Lastly,teachers should deal with concrete issues by the method of situational teaching.
