A Study On The Fertility Desire Of Handan Urban Childbearing-age Couples Under The Two-child Policy

In order to promote the balanced development of population and to slow down the aging process,the Communist Party of China passed the full liberalization of the two child policy in the fifth Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee.Fertility desire is important for measuring the effect of the new policy and predicting the trend of the population growth.This paper comprehensively and systematically analyzes the fertility intention of the subjects from four aspects: the purpose of fertility,the number of children who intend to be born,the desire to have sex,and the time of will.The results show that the purpose is not to pursue the material effect of children,but to pay more attention to the child's spiritual utility,and less affected by the surrounding environment and the traditional concept of fertility.In terms of the number of children who intend to have children,the respondents generally want to have 2 children.This paper analyzes the influence of individual factors such as age,gender,education level,family monthly income on the number of children who intend to have children.In the survey will birth sex,sex preference is not obvious,more than half of the respondents expect the family sons and daughters.Men showed a preference for boys than women,and women showed a preference for girls.The average age at first marriage will survey around the age of 25,in the hope that the children of 1-2 years after the marriage,which will first birth at the age of 26-27.In this paper,the study on the fertility desire of two children of married reproductive age population found that married people who have no children have a strong desire to give birth to two children,and the population of hoping birth the second kid 2-3 years after the first kid accounted for the highest proportion.Married and have a child in the crowd of 31-35 years old respondents two children have the strongest desire,and with the increase of age,the fertility of the two children will quickly reduce.The proportion of people who were married and had one child had the highest birth interval in 3-4 years.Most of the respondents hope to both have a son and a daughter.This paper analyzes the main factors that affect the fertility of married people.Economic factors have an important influence on the fertility desire from two aspects of income and expenditure.Personal development factors,people need to make a decision when the social role and family role conflicts,the willing of fertility will be affected.The family planning policy to a certain extent on the two child will have an impact,the policy is highly respected.The desire to give birth to two children have been affected by the traditional concept of fertility for a long time,even the modern concept of fertility,in essence,is another expression of the traditional concept of fertility.In addition,the child care and pension issues will also have a certain impact on the fertility of having two children.In this paper,according to the results of the investigation and analysis,summed up the overall two child policy in Handan city under the town of childbearing age family fertility desire presents several characteristics of more rational and modern concept of fertility gradually formed,gender preference gradually weakened,economic factors and personal development will affect the two children fertility desire.
