With the development of economy,the level of education has become a national standard of development,and students achievement has become one of the factors affecting the development of students' mental health.The relationship between academic achievement and mental health has become the research content of scholars at home and abroad,and has achieved some results.This study explores the relationship among parent-child relationship,peer relationship and academic performance,studies whether there are correlations among them and whether there are mediating variables,and what role mediating variables play in the middle,and proposes intervention programs for this purpose.To provide a reasonable basis for the healthy development of students,enrich the theory of psychological counseling and counseling in schools,and find a feasible activity program for the improvement of learning performance.In this study,453 junior high school students were selected as subjects and filled in self-report-based questionnaires,including parent-child communication scale,peer relationship rating scale,learning style questionnaire survey and the results of the latest large-scale examination.From these three relationships,the impact of parent-child relationship and peer relationship on academic performance was explored.The results the investigation were as follows:(1)There is a significant correlation between parent-child relationship and academic performance of junior high school students.On the dimension of open parent communication,there is a significant positive correlation with academic performance,and on the dimension of communication with problematic parents,there is a significant negative correlation with academic performance.(2)There is a significant negative correlation between peer relation.(3)There are significant differences between the learning style and the learning achievement of junior high school students.In the dimension of deep motivation,there is a significant positive correlation with learning achievement,learning achievement and deep strategy,surface learning strategy and learning style,and surface learning motivation and learning achievement.(4)In terms of gender,boys tend to use deep strategies while girls tend to use surface strategies.(5)Learning style mediates parent-child relationship,peer relationship and academic achievement.Learning style plays a part of mediating role between parent-child relationship and academic performance,and a complete mediating role between peer relationship and academic performance.(6)Group counseling was used to intervene the students in grade two and grade three of junior middle school,and the student academic performance in the experimental group was significantly improved.After the above results are obtained,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.In the aspect of parent-child relationship,students and parents should establish good communication relationship,parents should have confidence in their children,both sides should be in an equal position,and parents should not be authoritative and arbitrary.In the aspect of peer relationship,we should guide students how to communicate and get along with each other correctly and honestly.In terms of learning methods,students should be guided to use deep learning strategies,group cooperation and self-learning.
