New poetry,with its unique humanistic value and aesthetic experience,has become a suitable genre for cultivating students' literary quality,edifying sentiment and developing personality.However,in the high school Chinese class,the new poetry teaching has not received the corresponding attention,and the teaching result obtained is not ideal.In order to further understand the real situation of the new poetry teaching in language lesson class,the author use after school time,the teachers and students in a middle school in Shijiazhuang city has carried on the questionnaire concerning the new poetry teaching present situation,summed up the main problems existing currently in the process of new poetry teaching is: teaching tends to be shallow,stylized,new poetry text reading teaching to audio,rigid poetry text reading.Thus it is concluded that the main reason is: teachers and students lack correct understanding of new poetry,the lack of teachers' text reading ability,students utilitarian reading students ignore the importance of reading through text,and lack of the guidance of "method".The new poem refers to the poem genre which is different from the classical poetry and the vernacular as the basic language before and after the may fourth movement.By finishing high school each edition teaching material of extracts of new poem text,access and study of new poetry teaching books,Chinese journals,academic papers,found new innovative idea,various forms and rich connotation,has the characteristics of hazy reservation,concise rich lyricism,and selected in the high school language teaching material contents in new poetry is mostly some literature and the beauty of language,has the high literary aesthetic value and meaning of education,for text.It is operable to interpret the new poem with the new criticism "text reading" theory.In this context,how to use the theory of new criticism of "close reading" method of reading poetry,gradually pay more attention to in the new poetry teaching,many teachers begin to focus on cultivating the students' ability of text.In the process of new poetry teaching,how to use the new criticism "text reading" theory method,guiding students to do new poetry reading is the focus of thisresearch.By tracing the source of the new criticism,the author states the theoretical source and basic concept of "text reading",and extracts the theory and method of reading the new poetry teaching in high school.Finally,the author tries to apply the new criticism "text reading" theory to teaching,and puts forward to grasp the overall framework of poetry from the structure of poetry.To analyze the high frequency,gist and emotion key words in the poem,to understand the connotation of poetry text;It pays attention to the poetry,context and tension of poetic language,and to savor the details of poetic texts.By using the theory of new criticism of "close reading" method of analysis of modern new poetry,let the student through the feeling of the language of poetry art,poetry structure inner tension,dig inner contradictions of poetry,to get a beautiful feeling,accept the edification of beauty,harvest the unique aesthetic experience.
