With the rapid development of information technology,teaching modes supported by information technology becomes more and more widely accepted.Researchers on education theory have never ceased to explore all kinds of teaching modes.They are the bridges between theory and practice.Innovative teaching modes play a crucial role in the reform of education in China.As a kind of new teaching mode,flipped classroom uses scientific methods to guide the children to learn actively and willingly,and at the same time,to develop the students' abilities like autonomous learning,communication and cooperation,etc.,which is in line with the current social demand for talent cultivation.A one-year research has been carried out based on practical teaching.During the process,extensive literature related to flipped classroom both home and abroad has been referred to.Accordingly,its origin,concrete forms,promotion status,effects achieved,etc.as well as a series of problems occurred in the process of its promotion in China have been fully understood.And then,based on the characteristics of junior high school students and the subject features of Chemistry experiment,a flipped classroom teaching mode which suits Chemistry experiment teaching in junior high school has been built.It summarizes teaching strategies in a flipped classroom from multiple aspects,including the choice of teaching contents,the exploitation of video resources,the method of multi-dimensional evaluation,the mode of cooperative learning,and so on.The research results show that flipped classroom teaching should be applied after the teaching of Chemistry experiment.In a flipped classroom,students' abilities of all aspects,especially their autonomous learning ability,group cooperation ability and inquiry ability in science,have been improved in general.Meanwhile,there has been a great difference from one student to another.The research has found out that flipped classroom is more suitable for the students who are good at self-management,self-control and inter-personal communication,active and willing to express themselves in class.As for those students who are introverted and weak in communication,their ability improvement is relatively not so obvious.
