English plays a vitally significant role in the learning process of senior high schools, which acts as one of three most pivotal subjects. With the accelerating development of the reform and opening up,English proficiency has become not only the necessary tasks of the modern students, but also the fundamental prerequisite of the high-quality citizens in the 21 st century. Therefore,English education researchers and institutes such as teachers, schools, and even the National Department of Education, are all studying how to utilize pedagogy strategies and advanced teaching methods to improve students' English autonomy, language competence and English grades. However,in several senior high school, students who are lack of interest and autonomy for English learning always lay a weak foundation of English proficiency, which is owing to the shortage of experienced teachers and teaching resources, and something related to the learning intention and interest, etc. In 2011,the English Curriculum Standards of Senior High Education regulated by the National Department of Education pointed out that “evaluation is one of the important components of the English curriculum”.Thus,we could draw a conclusion that scientific evaluation system is the indispensable section to achieve the curriculum objectives and improve existing English curriculum. The evaluation of the English curriculum should involve many factors such as subject, form, content, textbooks and environment, etc.Currently, our country's prime evaluation method based on the examination in our educational system exists huge shortage. Most of teachers just pay attention to students' grades rather than the problems emerging from the learning process. That is to say, only the students with high academic performance can receive the recognition of teachers.Hence, the author is convinced that, the teaching comprehensive assessment methods should include both test grades and the performance in learning process during the class. In this way,we can improve students' integrated English language competence. In this study, the author analyzed the domestic and abroad literature review of both qualitative evaluation system and the ecological class. The author constructed qualitative evaluation system of the ecological class, which could be applied to the senior high school's English education with the desire to solve the problem of less autonomy and lackluster academic performance.According to the practical English teaching situation in senior high, the author constructed diverse qualitative evaluation systems of the ecological class in listening and speaking lessons, and reading and writing lessons separately in order to explain its performance in different lesson types and determine how to conduct appropriate evaluation system correspondingly. Also,it was discussed about how to utilize the outcome of evaluation system to improve students' autonomy of English learning and English grades. The author conducted empirical research about the feasibility and validity of this evaluation system. The author chose two classes of freshmen year in Harbin HIT High School randomly as subjects, and analyzed the learning autonomy, learning results and learning grades with the software SPSS.Meanwhile, the author interviewed several students both before and after the experiment in order to collect the students' learning information comprehensively.Based on all the data and information collected above,it was concluded that this system could increase students' autonomy towards English learning, improve their English acquisition capacity, and upgrade their English grades. In the meanwhile,it could benefit teachers to modifying teaching strategies promptly according to the students' learning performance and this assessment system. Finally, author pointed out the drawbacks of this system based on relevant theories and research methods.
