This paper did a survey on the construction of private and public middle school’s hidden curriculum from materials,regulations,traditions and relationships these four aspects by questionnaire.The results show that:1.Private middle school’s hidden curriculum is better than public middle school’s hidden curriculum.2.The main difference between private and public middle school’s hidden curriculum lies in materials and relationships of hidden curriculum.3.Relationships of hidden curriculum has the biggest influence on students.4.The different school system account to the difference between private and public middle school’s hidden curriculum.The author proposes some specific suggestions respectively for private and public middle school:Private schools should strengthen the construction of traditional culture on campus,expand the advantages of hidden curriculum of regulations,integrate hidden curriculum into school-based courses and fully excavate alumni resources;Public schools should construct their unique hidden curriculum in the public education system,optimize the campus environment,create opportunities for students to engage in dialogues and improve the teacher assessment system.
