MOOC,as the combination of Internet technology and Education,is a totally innovative teaching method with the characteristics of Massive learner,Creative teaching and intense interaction.Since MOOC was introduced in Chine in 2012,it has been commended for its potential positive impacts on basic education.The paper emphasizes that the MOOC in basic education consists of micro-video and the flipped classroom.As a result,it produces three advantages: the combination of knowledge and interest,ideological education by osmosis,the coexistence of balance and difference.The paper finds the theoretical basis of MOOC teaching method,and the analyses the four values of MOOC teaching method.Then,the author surveys the situation of MOOC in politics teaching and finds the practical affection and existent problems.According to the findings,the paper gives four solving strategies: following the MOOC teaching principles,refining MOOC teaching process,as well as establishing effective supervision and multiple evaluation.
