Experiment is the foundation of biology and also an important direction for examination in annual College Entrance Exams,which is an important part of biology teaching assessment.However,present research papers focus on studies on current situation of biology experimental teaching.As for research papers on students' problem-solving ability,they are either outdated or insufficient in number.The analysis Jiangsu high school students' problem-solving ability,according to the author's vision,generally concentrates on four aspects,which are studying exam instruction of CEE,studying experimental teaching material,studying CEE papers and studying experimental teaching etc.This paper employs methods of literature,questionnaire and individual interviews etc.First of all,it conducts a classified comparison of changes observed on experimental requirements,content and grade etc in CEE instruction of recent six years.It's particularly focused on grade difference and percentage of experimental question in CEE industry of recent years and concludes whether CEE instruction is of guidance or not.In addition,it further studies experimental teaching material employed(People's Education Press Version and Jiangsu People's Education Press Version)in Jiangsu Province and concentrates on the distribution of various teaching material in CEE experiments and discusses how to use teaching material effectively.The focus of research is aimed at making a classified comparison of CEE experimental questions in recent six years(2011-2016)from the aspects of percentage of experimental question,exam content,regular exam questions,experimental project and statistic analysis on ability level and concludes the characteristics of CEE experimental questions in Jiangsu Province as a result.In general,it boils down to experiment class to improve problem-solving ability on experimental questions,which can fundamentally solve difficulties in experimental questions.In studied experiments,it focuses on “ teach” and “ study” in experimental practices.As for teachers,this research is mostly on equipments in the lab,setting of experiment class and biology teachers' attitude toward experiment class etc,which are directly connected to the effect of experimental teaching.As for students,as much as they are interested in experiment class,it does not mean they are capable of operating it well in experiment.On top of that,this paper is targeted to study students' studies in experiment and proposes instructional suggestions.At last,it analyzes actual barriers facing students in solving problems in the in the interview part.Based on these above mentioned aspects,it is also discussed in the paper concerning effective teaching strategies and feasible suggestions on improving students' experimental ability in high school biology teaching,in order to inspire student to work hard and improve their learning ability and scientific understanding etc.The author thinks its mostly about the following aspects:(1)study question setting rule,confirm direction and content of review;(2)classify experiment type and master various experimental design ideas and study methods(3)focus on edited teaching material and experimental teaching material(4)improve personal experiences(5)proper language expressions and improve experimental performance.
