Lack of reading is a common problem of high school students.This involves the quality of the people and prevent them from becoming lifelong readers.For the students of senior three,it can affect writing,and prevent them from being responsible writersThis article contains four chapters.Chapter one,the necessity and theoretical basis of reading-based writing in Senior Year.Chapter two,the survey and analysis about present situation of reading-based writing.Chapter three,improvement strategies of promoting reading to write.Chapter four,implementation effect and matters needing attention of reading-based writing.The improvement strategies are the most important.Firstly,we can hold a report to let the students introduce their reading work in the vocation,then check and strengthen the results of the work.The booklist is recommended by course standard,some teachers and students.This kind of report can improve the effect and result.Secondly,during the first review,we can make good use of the textbooks to practice reading,including writings in classical Chinese.Thirdly,during the second review,we study some articles on special topics,including argument articles,literature,practical writings.And we can practice imitative writing.In addition,teachers should add some materials.For example,some articles about the theme materials,requirements of the college entrance examination,about the quality of students.Teachers should direct their students to understand some news reports and follow up,accumulate famous quotations and know about the traditional culture which includes Beijing Opera,Traditional Chinese medicine and so on.We accumulate all kinds of reading materials in class and carry out the training of appreciating – imitating – creating.So their writingability can be improved.When the students enjoy some articles by themselves,they make a list of advantages of good articles.Then they can imitate writing by refering to the advangtages.They should pay attentionto imitate task driven composition.By imitating some essays,they form their own style slowly,contrast their own writingand the model essay to improve their articles.Then they can write a good essay in the College Entrance Examination.This is the final goal of appreciating good articles and imitate writing.
