Task-based teaching is the core concept and practice of English curriculum reform in China.It is to integrate the teaching goal into one task or more specific activities,students complete the task through participation,experience,interaction,communication and cooperation and other forms of activities,to feel the joy of success.Task-based teaching conforms to the concept of new curriculum.It has gradually become familiar and applied to many English teachers,especially in English reading teaching.In the process of carrying out English task-based teaching in junior high school,It is certain that it puts forward higher requirements for the classroom teaching and management of English teachers.This is undoubtedly a bigger challenge for classroom teaching management.Therefore enhance the effectiveness of English reading task-based teaching,and let task-based teaching play its advantages in English teaching.Then improve the quality of English reading teaching in junior high school,and the comprehensive language ability of students.These will have important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the definition of tasks,task-based teaching,classroom management and effective classroom management,this paper expounds the current situation of English reading teaching in junior high school and the new curriculum standard and new teaching materials.Based on the practice of English teaching,this paper adopts the literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,and analyzes the current situation of task-based teaching and classroom management of junior high school English reading.The following problems are found in the classroom management of English reading task-based teaching in junior high school: Namely,the classroom management concept lags behind,teacher management quality is unbalanced;The classroom atmosphere is not positive enough,the relationship between teachers and students is not harmonious;Classroom problems are frequent.The teacher handled the method badly;Classroom task design is not reasonable.The content of classroom evaluation is single.The reasons for the existing problems are further analyzed:The concept of Exam-oriented education's classroom management is deeply rooted;Communication between teachers and students lack the meaning and classroom communication is invalid;Class specification and problem behavior processing lack the humanity;Task design is optional and classroom evaluation has not yet formed a complete evaluation system.In order to achieve the ultimate goal of this study,This paper probes into the existing problems found in the investigation and analysis,This paper summarizes the effective countermeasures of classroom management in junior middle school English reading task-based teaching: Constructing new concept of classroom management and improving the quality of teachers' classroom management;Highlighting the humanistic nature of English reading teaching and creating the communication dynamic class;Constructing classroom rules reasonably and dealing with problem behavior effectively;To analyze,regulate and control tasks reasonably.To improve the classroom evaluation mechanism.
