A Study Of Local Literature In Primary And Middle School Chinese Textbooks

The development of local literature is based on the uniqueness of Chinese rural geography and humanism.It has the history of more than 90 years.In that period,lots of excellent local literature works appeared,and lot of them have been written into primary and secondary school's textbooks.By learning these literatures,not only does student's initiative consciousness of appreciating the beauty of local literature were cheered,but also makes them have a sense of belonging and recognition of the local culture.From this aspect,the author believes that local literature is an important subject which worth to make a further study.In this article,the author will use current implementation of the primary and middle school language teaching materials(Take people's Education Edition,Lu Jiao edition,Shanghai Education Edition,Jiangsu Education Edition)as the research object,and study these four edition's selections literatures by using the literature research,quantitative research and text analysis,especially the quantity of literatures,the characteristic of selected texts and the comparison of selected texts.Based on the above research together with combining the complex characters of folk customs written in the local literature,the author will then put forward some feasible teaching strategies for the shortcomings of local works in teaching.
