The Research On The Risk Control Of H College In The United States Work Travel Project

With the number of Sino-American exchange schemes ever-increasing,international work and travel programs have spread like wildfire for Chinese college students.Such projects strengthen bilateral relations and lead to an in-depth understanding of local customs,traditions and practices among university undergraduates,whilst also enriching their experience of study.The United States Work and Travel Project has played an important role in this,and has been widely praised.However,due to cultural,political and other differences that exist between China and the U.S.A.,the United States Tourism Project also carries a certain risk.Risk factors and risk sources are diverse,and moreover tourism risk-perception is a multi-dimensional concept.This paper discusses the variables for recognition of these many dimensions in Sino-American work and travel exchange programs for Chinese college students.Tourism risk perception and its repercussions will be identified in the paper as high risk type dysfunction,which as regards work and travel projects to the United States includes but is not limited to: sharp fluctuations in the exchange rate(economic risk);geological and hydrological disasters or public health danger and cultural or social conflict(psychological risk).This research is aimed specifically at a group of students in the United States of H college and through the method of questionnaire survey will investigate the actual risk and the degree of perceived risk in the course of their work in the United States.The paper has practical significance for the future management of tourism projects in the U.S.A.Additionally,it provides a research foundation for the future study of student movement between the Chinese mainland and the United States.Future tourism management of undergraduates must focus not only on improving students' ability to adapt and increasing their awareness of rudimentary safety issues.Relevant organizations should also provide these guidance mechanisms effectively,in order to further enhance the security level of tourism safety.Students for their part should take the initiative in expanding their ability to assimilate relevant safety information or disaster warnings,and enhance their self-protection faculties.In the process of implementing this work in the future,it will be necessary to strengthen cooperation between Chinese universities and United States work and travel agencies,and actively communicate that these cultural and academic exchanges between the two countries should grow.
