For a long time,we use the same management system for all the sports courses in schools all over the country.However,regional differences,multi-ethnic cultural differences,practicability of the courses,and the adaptation of the students,all these lead to the limitation of this pattern.It is of great significance to develop special sports courses which can meet students’ needs and then strengthen their physical health since studies show that the level of physiques and health of students declining year by year.In this study,11 primary schools in Suzhou Industrial Park were selected as the research object,the relevant leaders,supervisors and PE teachers of the sports group were interviewed and investigated.We referred lectures,made interviews,did mathematical statistics,case analysis and logical analysis and came to the following conclusion:1 、 In these schools,they set up their own sports courses according to own characteristics and local conditions.The courses are rich and can meet the needs of students basically.However,regarding the featured sports curriculum,the rates of professional sports teachers are low.There is lacking of professional faculty.In these primary schools,the facilities are relatively complete and can basically meet the needs of sports courses.There is a big difference in the investment to the featured sports curriculum of sports in different primary schools,which has a certain influence on the implementation of sports courses.2、The implementation of the sports curriculum has had a certain impact on the students’ cognition,and themselves.It greatly enhances the students’ interest in the sport and hobbies,stimulates the enthusiasm of learning and almost achieves the purpose of this course.3、There is a certain lack of awareness of featured sports curriculum for teachers.They pay more attention to the students’ interest than the awareness of lifelong sports.4、Children made progress on getting along with others,following rules and on self-confidences after these courses.Besides,children are happier and optimistic.Get the support of parents.Suggestion strategy:1、Forming a reasonable structure and characteristic sports curriculum system.2、Organizing relative teaching activities,exchange experience,learning each other.3、Undertaking sports activities with characteristic sports teaching.4 、 Cultivating student’s lifetime sports consciousness by characteristic sports curriculum.
