As an important part of the mathematics textbook,the featured columns are selected typical materials,and are an important medium for students to consolidate and expand basic knowledge,understand mathematics culture,develop mathematics thinking,and improve mathematics academic ability.This research takes the characteristic columns contained in the primary school mathematics textbook published by the People's Education Edition as the research object,uses the literature method and text analysis method to analyze the writing situation,finds out the current characteristic column content and problems in the layout,and strives to solve problems and obstacles,and present a more scientific and reasonable Featured section.This article is composed of five parts.The first part is the introduction,expounding the reasons for selecting the topic,the significance of the research,and the current status of research at home and abroad.The second part is based on the “Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2011)Edition)” and related theories of mathematics education and so on to analyze the writing intentions of the featured columns.The third part and the fourth part respectively take the column content and layout style as the research object.The third part contains the column title,language,object-oriented,and related scope;the fourth part discusses the presentation method and layout design of the column,with specific quantities,Length,location,column frame,information carrier,color matching,explore the characteristics and rules of the content and layout style of the characteristic columns of primary school mathematics textbooks from multiple angles.The fifth part is the problems and suggestions in the compilation of featured columns.The deficiencies include the lack of systematic introduction of the featured columns,the single column frame style,the repetition of a few pictures,the low accuracy and the too small size,the lack of "interestingness" in some columns,and the columns not being systematically included in the evaluation system,etc.Based on the existing problems,the following suggestions are made: enrich column presentation methods,rationally design column layouts,scientifically select column materials,enrich the content of featured columns,develop supporting curriculum resources,expand content presentation channels,the characteristic columns are comprehensively considered and appropriately included in the evaluation system to provide a certain reference for the development and improvement of characteristic columns.
