Extra-curricular reading is an important part of Chinese curriculum and an important way for students to carry out Chinese practice.The compulsory education Chinese course standard "puts forward the specific requirements on students'extracurricular reading:"has the ability of independent reading,pay attention to emotional experience,has the rich accumulation,forming a good language sense.Learn to use a variety of reading methods,can understand,appreciate literature works,be influenced by noble sentiment and taste,develop personality,enrich own spiritual world.It can be seen from this that extracurricular reading activities can help students develop their personality and enhance their thoughts and feelings.It also helps to improve students' ideological and moral character,and gradually puts them into their own thoughts and behaviors.Extra-curricular reading also helps to improve students'language skills,and to develop reading skills and other subjects' learning abilities.Primary school is a key period for students to carry out extra-curricular reading.Strengthening the cultivation of extracurricular reading ability of students in primary school will play an important role in their future development.Since the reform of the new curriculum,pupils have made great progress in reading outside the classroom.Through the study of primary school students in six regional central cities,the author found that the trend of students' extracurricular reading is still not optimistic with the increase of age.This paper will make a preliminary discussion on the trend of extracurricular reading of primary school students in regional central cities:The full text is divided into five parts:the first part elaborated the research background,research status and research significance,and the regional central city,such as reading and extracurricular reading core concept is defined.In this chapter,the author focuses on the typicality and representativeness of this thesis,as well as the innovation points of this topic.In the second part,the author expounds the system of regional central city elementary school students' reading condition in the research design,including the research purpose,research method,research object and research tools.Using the survey data obtained through a variety of display of the chart,from the extracurricular reading preference,the types of extracurricular reading,extracurricular reading time and quantity,the purpose of the extracurricular reading,extracurricular reading method,extracurricular reading acquisition channel and the impact of family and school factors on the extracurricular reading in seven aspects of regional central city elementary student's extracurricular reading are analyzed in two aspects of the research,one is to use a pie chart to present all ages pupil reading research in general,the second is using charts and line chart of different ages students reading in the change trend of the research.According to the data,the author summarizes the specific characteristics of primary school students' reading in the regional center.In the third part,the author according to the results of the data after finishing the extracurricular reading interest,extracurricular reading time,extracurricular reading content and extracurricular reading guide four aspects illuminates the regional central city elementary school students' reading change tendency is exposed,and from the society,school,family and students themselves four aspects to delve into the causes of change;In the fourth part,the author on the basis of the characteristics of the regional central city,regional central city in the future the way of the development of primary and middle school students'extracurricular reading activities are put forward to improve the strategy,including promote elementary school students actively engaged in reading,improve parents support for extracurricular reading,improve teachers' scientific guiding extracurricular reading,to ensure that the schools offer plenty of extracurricular reading conditions and to enhance the publishing house of extracurricular reading guide five aspects.
