Frequent bullying on campus has become a hot issue attracted wide public attention.Bullying in Primary and Secondary school is more likely to become the object of concern,and that in the Secondary Vocational School is often neglected.In fact,compared with ordinary Middle School students,Secondary Vocational School students bullying phenomenon is more common and more serious.Therefore,an objective understanding of the current situation of Secondary Vocational School students bullying,grasp its particularity,and explore its prevention strategy,should become an indispensable important topic of the current campus bullying research.This paper mainly adopts literature,questionnaire and interview method,taking GM Vocational School as a case.In term of current situation,causes and prevention strategies of bullying behavior of the Middle and Vocational School students,we carried out series of deep study and research.The questionnaire mainly refers to children's bullying behavior questionnaire SMITH and Chinese revision of Olweus children's bullying questionnaire by Professor Zhang Wenxin.The questionnaire focused on the different dimensions of bullies and bullies from different perspectives.The frequency,manner and place of bullying in school life,as well as the attitudes of the bullied are highly concerned.Mainly based on questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview for assistance,this paper makes an objective investigation on the current situation and causes of campus bullying among secondary vocational school students.The paper puts forward countermeasures as the main breakthrough point of school.Taking GM Vocational School as a case study,329 students from three representative departments participated in the questionnaire survey.And the interviews were conducted among the head teachers,counselors and some of the students.According to the survey,we found that bullying incidence rate was15.20%,the verbal attacks,intimidation and violence occurrence from boys is higher than girls,and soft violence such as isolating,the incidence from girls is higher than boys.Most of the bullied students choose to swallow their pride.We also found that with the increase of age,the bullying behavior showed an upwardtrend.The causes of bullying in the Secondary Vocational School students can be explained from the aspects of individual,school,family,society and so on.Personal reasons are mainly influenced by moral concept,emotional experience and behavioral habits.As school factor mainly includes: emphasis on skill cultivation and contempt of personality development,attach importance to schoolwork and despise psychological education,value teachers skills promotion and light quality training.Family reasons include the ways of family education,family structure,while parental culture accomplishment is also a very important aspect.The social reasons are: the supervision of entertainment places is not strict,the temptation of outside school,social negative public opinion and related laws and regulations are not perfect.We mainly take school as the breakthrough point,integrating personal reasons,school reasons,family reasons and social reasons and other factors,tentatively put forward countermeasures and suggestions of bullying behavior on campus.Firstly,establish a good campus culture education system,mainly including the construction of “equality and harmonious” campus culture atmosphere,establishment the “rule-based” campus system,carrying out positive campus culture activities,full-play the demonstration role of teachers.Secondly is to explore co-building mechanism between home and school.It mainly includes the establishment of home-school communication channels,the responsibility of home-school supervision and the change of parents' teaching methods.Thirdly is to build a social support system,which includes campus bullying prevention system,response system and aftermath system.And the legal workers,law enforcement officers and volunteers should be invited to campus,through seminars,lectures and other forms,to further strengthened the legal awareness of students.And everyone should learn to use legal means to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.Fourthly is to pay attention to the improvement of students' self quality,including the establishment of correct moral concepts,improvement interpersonal skills,development a good habit of reading consciously.
