There has been quite a proportion of children with Learning Disability in elementary education of China.In order to help children with Learning Disablity,and to improve the quality of elementary education,the study of Leaning Disablity has increasingly become an important research project.Learning Disability is common in learning of various courses.As a branch of the study of Learning Disability,the study of English Learning Disability has just begun,and even less work has been done in the study of English Learning of elementary education.Even the beginning of the study of English Learning Disability is relatively late,but because of the growing needs of English in international communications,English learning draws more attentions,and the study of English Learning Disability grows fast and productively.Researches on English Learning Disability are mostly concentrated in English learning in high school and college education,but fewer in elementary education.Elementary education is important in learning of written and spoken English,in which bad performance of English learning will affect the academic achievements of students in high schools,colleges and even for life.So it is the most effient way of solving the problem by studying the English Learning Disability in elementary education.This paper concludes four parts,focusing on the English Learning Difficulty of the students in lower grades.The first part is a summary,detailing the background,purpose and significance of the research,domestic and foreign research reviews,concept definition,theoretical basis and research ideas and methods.The second part is the investigation of the current situation of English Learning Disablities.Some second grade students and their parents and teachers from three elementary schools in Weifang City are studied by questionnaire surveys,observations and interviews,to find out the problems encountered in the English learning process of the students in lower grades.The study finds out some causes of English Learning Difficulties,and ways to communicate with students with English Learning Difficulties and their parents,inorder to find out the most suitable solution to English Learning Difficulties,improve the quality of education by cooperating of homes and schools,and motivate the other students with English Learning Difficulties to improve.
