This paper chooses the High/Scope Curriculum in the United States as the research object and adapts the documentation method and comparative research to analyze the era background,development process,theory foundation and concrete content of the curriculum in detail and sum up the organizational structure and characteristics of the curriculum.On the basis of the objective evaluation of the curriculum impact on the American preschool education,the article analyzes the beneficial enlightenment to the development of the preschool education of our country.The High/Scope Curriculum was a set of relatively complete early education curriculum plan which was created by a child psychologist,David P.Weikart,in the 1960s,and was summarized by the High/Scope Education Research Foundation after years of theoretical and practical research.In the beginning it was applied in the Perry Preschool Project which was implemented in Ypslanti region,Michigan.The Perry Preschool Project is first approved in the Head Start and aims to help disadvantaged children go to school smoothly and finish school of preschool education plan.The course regards Piaget,Vygotsky,Dewey,Gardner and others' thought as the theoretical basis,in developing gradually mature,forming a distinctive set of course system,and preschool education is widely used in the United States and around the world.
