This paper chooses the High/Scope Mode in the United States as the study object. The High/Scope Mode conformed with the global modernly educational thought and trend as it combined, which was content to the development requirement of preschool education long term and continual restruction and improvement, and formed the thought and theory system. All of these have played an important role to promote the development of preschool curriculum in our country.The full text is divided into four chapters. The first chapter dwells on the thought basis of the High/Scope Mode including the thought of Piaget, Dewey and Lev Vygotsky. The second chapter describes the origin and development of the High/Scope Mode and which summarizes the concepts of it. The third chapter explores the fundamental content and the features of the theory of High/Scope Mode. The fourth chapter excavates the tracking research of the High/Scope Mode, and analyzes its enlightenment of the development of preschool education in our country.The High/Scope Mode was for the preschool children, which first appeared in the United States, and which was one of the representative local course modes there. The High/Scope Mode was applied in the Perry Preschool Programme by David P. Weikart and his colleagues. The Perry Preschool Programme was one of the plans which aimed to help the poor children go to school smoothly in the1960s. The formation of the High/Scope Mode had its special historical background and the theoretical origin, the development of which was influenced by Piaget,Dewey and Lev Vygotsky,and which was widely used in the world.
