| Chinese is a subject that takes a variety of paper as its carrier in order to cultivatestudents’ ability to use the language and, meanwhile, promote students’ cultural qualities aswell as the abilities of understanding and experiencing of life.In the first chapter, the author describes the background, the purpose and role, and thesignificance of the research of this topic. Then, the second chapter analyzes the range ofselection, standard, purpose and role of the works in the current middle school languageteaching. Also, problems of foreign literature works like environment, system and culturein current middle school Chinese education in promoting students’ cultural qualities arediscussed in the third chapter.
